With your purchase, proceeds are allocated to the operation and management of the WingSelect Farm in southern Ouachita County, Arkansas (A region with limited waterfowl management at scale). This farm is part of a 3rd generation family-owned timber & land partnership. It is managed to provide refuge for wildlife, with an emphasis on providing rest areas for waterfowl. Habitat updates are posted to the WingSelect social media and website pages.
We do NOT profit from waterfowl habitat projects with hunting memberships, leases, or guided hunts. We provide waterfowl habitat out of our love for the birds.
With continued habitat loss across the continent, there are less areas for waterfowl to feed and rest. Hunting pressure on smaller pieces of habitat results in less areas for ducks to forage & rest. To address this, we will continue conserving & managing wetlands on the farm, while allowing waterfowl a disturbance free environment. By providing quality habitat and rest, we are sending fit breeding pairs to the prairie every spring. Our ultimate goal is increased duck production, which means more ducks in the flyway for you to enjoy.
